I've made a little APEX-block tool today that can rescue hours of work by converting the APX-block into IFF/TARGA.

Probably nothing for most, but for me personally this will save alot of grief when I've forgotten to double-save my work as GIF or need a texturefile as TARGA in other resolutions than the APEX screen..
