I have been planning this for some time as well, and done some technical tests.

It seems like the composite and RGB from Ataris are not true PAL, but rather send 313 lines for both fields. My RGB->SVIDEO bridge hates this :-(

Recording from composite to the DV-bridge works, but composite is quite noisy and results in a quality that is "acceptable", but nowhere near what Mindcandy did.

Emulator isn't an option, not accurate enough, especially not for audio, and besides not too many emulators for Falcon060 ;-)

How had you planned to solve the image capture? Perhaps you have a better way than me to obtain the (non-pal-standard) RGB output? I'm interested to hear ideas..

Otherwise a DVD is quite ideal, as it has 50Hz motion, which should fit ST/Falcon demos like a glove.. DivX, VCD and progressive SVCD/MPEG2 isn't good enough, as they only offer 25Hz motion..
