ct60 was useful indeed.

but ct60 /is/ 1632 compatible... it has a PSG, Videl graphics, DMA, MFP etc etc. a coldfire development board solution would have a compatibility much much less.

frankly ct60 compiles all my software projects in seconds all ready.

also we aren't exactly overrun by ct60 software titles.

this coldfire development board looks like it will mostly run clean written GEM apps... albeit at very high speed.

frankly, i rather use OSX and Windows for my 'normal' computing than GEM these days.

CT60 is for me is the ultimate demoscene platform... a fun machine.

maybe i misunderstood the intention of the osprey. if it will not be a coldfire development board, but a plugin card similar to ct60, then i would be more convinced.
