Ok, I have not read the first Freax, but I always wanted! And that not becouse of of my Atari intrest. I's becouse of my intrest about the demo scene in general.
I think is GREAT that there is some Atari stuff in Freax vol.2. I think that the ppl that will get the book are not only "Amiga/C64 ppl" but a lot of PC ppl. And i think alot of ppl don't have a clue about the atari scene will have a nice peek into it via the Freax vol 2 book.
I rather see a book about the demo scene that covers a small bit of atari, then a book with no atari at all !
And I think that we all knew that when freax vol 1 was out that vol 2 was under progress, and that vol 2 will feater
some atari in it. And we all know that Tomcat is not an atari dude.
So what we could have done is helping the guy out by just simply sending him a mail and offer him some expetise help about the atari scene.
So when Freax 3 is under progress (if it already is, or ever will be) we could help Tomcat out by just helping him out with information and stuff like that.
Or just make an book about the atari scene ur self, but I think that it just be us (the atari sceners) that will buy the book. Coz i don't think the demo scene in general is intrested about getting a book just about atari.
