3d was always easier on amiga, except they didn't discover their smear mode until 5 years or so (suckers). so until the technological death demo they didn't know how to do 3d properly and st did it faster.
for the rest there are loads of things atari copied from amiga. they had the discover syncscrolling because the amiga had hardware fine scrolling. and that's just one example. the screenbreaker from flipo, the paralax scrolling in shadow of the bitch, the mad copper dot scroller, shadebobs, techno demo, etc, etc.. all amiga ideas.. you can't deny it.
on the other hand, atari had the best coders. no doubt about it. stuff like syncscrolling or delta polies would have -never- been discovered on amiga. -period-. nor would they have learned to tame a dsp btw ;)
i have a feeling this has been discussed about a million times before btw ;)
