STE DMA problems

Hello,

my STE is giving really strange sound when playing some mym-DMA-tunes, specially when using the microwire commands. It only plays samples and not the chip or the other way around and sounds pretty distorted. I heard of a "DMA-bug" but don't know what this is. Anyone has a clue what that could be about? Can one exchange the chip then?
