Trigger 030 interupt using DSP
Posted by: jason Jan,23.2005-21:09

I need the DSP to trigger an 030 exception when its done with its calculations.

I see there is a bit at DSP:$FFE8 and mirrored at 030:$FFFFA202 called "ISR Host Request" (bit7), does this trigger the DSP host exception (vector: $3fc.w)? If it does, is there any strange behavior associated with triggering this exception?

FYI i'm going to a DSP "push" mode so I can stop using SDMA play due to its unreliability.

thanks
