Nice! I've totally forgotten about using the DOS Version in DOSBOX!
Still, one plus for runtos: long filenames as well as no startup time :)
I don't know how fast DOSBOX' dynarec is compared to the static Musashi interpreter,
but on my CoreI7 System assembling NoCrews MP2 Replayer takes 0.0749s compared to 0.0391 via Wine (already started once), so fast enough for me :)
Assembling it on a PI3 needs 4.9seconds though; and on a PI1 i have 14.479s compared to 14.020s on a Falcon060@66Mhz...
The original plan was to disassemble either the Windows Exe or the Atari PRG and convert that one to some kind of C as was done before (i.e. opendune) but that's too much work for me right now.

Message board and comments are now read-only

Due to abuse of the message boards we have put the entire site in read-only mode. That means you can't post new threads or reply to old messages and you can't add comments in VideoDB and PicDB.

Some messages have been erased from reading, but are stored in case they need to surface again.

After 17 years and 45000 messages we're shutting down due to one person.
