Yeah, it's seriously weird.

x = pow(y, 1.0) should produce a linear ramp.

We tried with gcc's pow() and also with a 68k/FPU assembly implementation using flogn/fetox. Both produce freaky discontinuous output on Laurent's box...

Laurent - it still probably makes sense to unsocket the chip and give the pins a clean, push it back in, retest...
